Законни ли са радарните детектори?

Въпросът дали радарните детектори са законни не може да получи еднозначен отговор в Европа. Има държави, в които използването на радарни детектори е законно, докато в други държави от ЕС е забранено само използването на заглушители. В други държави са разрешени само радарни детектори, които отчитат стационарни камери за скорост чрез GPS, но не и радарни приемници.

AustriaXGPS devices with a POI warner as an "announcement function" are permitted. Radar warning devices that can be used to influence or interfere with technical traffic monitoring equipment are prohibited. These may neither be attached to nor carried on motor vehicles. RomaniaRadar detectors are gererally Allowed. Legal regulation is currently being discussed.
SerbiaXXFine between 50 euros and 170 euros if used. In the event of an accident, up to 45 days imprisonment instead of a fine is possible. Navigation systems with POI function are allowed.
